Program Proposal for the
National Museum of Natural History

Museum Audiences: Dinner & a Movie was a group project that I worked on with four of my classmates in the fall of 2007. Our focus audience was young professionals, so we designed an event that we felt would appeal to that demographic.

The proposed Dinner & A Movie project was designed for the National Museum of Natural History. The program would run four times a year and each quarter would focus on a different exhibit theme. The first quarter would center on the "Mexican Cycles exhibit" and would feature a lecture from an anthropologist, a food demonstration by renowned chef Rick Bayless, a sumptuous buffet of Mexican food made with Pre-Columbian ingredients and the movie "Como Agua para Chocolate."
